Best Children Toys

After reliving some pleasant moments of nostalgia, thanks to earlier mentions of Mr. Potato Head and My Little Pony, I started thinking about several things – the toys that I grew up playing with and the name of this blog. Best children toys – not new children toys. While a lot of the new toys coming out are great toys, some of the “old” toys are the most popular – like LEGO. I’m not talking about the special, must-follow-the-directions-and-just-build-this-one-thing LEGO sets, I’m talking about the OG LEGO sets, the old-school ones. A huge bucket of LEGO blocks, complete with doors, windows, base surfaces, roof pieces, and LEGO people – the possibilities are endless and building toys nurture so much creativity in a kid. I’ll take my big old bucket over an Indiana Jones play set any day.
